Your privacy matters. None of my apps collect personal data, and nothing is sent to me unless you choose to share it. Here is what that means in detail.
No Tracking
None of my apps collect personal data. There is no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising, and no app sends anything to me unless you choose to share it.
Processed on Your Mac
All processing happens locally on your Mac. Any data an app reads, such as system information, battery levels, or files you choose, is used only on your device. The one exception is Magic GPU Benchmark, and only for results you choose to share.
Result Sharing in Magic GPU Benchmark
Sharing is off until you turn it on. Once it is on, a run that passed every check is sent automatically, at most once a day, and you can send a single run yourself from its details. A shared run contains the Mac model, the chip, the graphics card, the number of cores, the memory, the macOS and app version, and the scores. It contains no name, no email address and no serial number. It is stored in the app's iCloud database, where iCloud adds an anonymous identifier that exists only for this app, so that results from the same person count once. Shared runs are never shown unreviewed: I look at them first, and only combined results appear in the comparison. The app loads that comparison from this website. Turn off both sharing and the comparison in the settings, and the app makes no requests at all. If you would like your shared results removed, get in touch.
No Third-Party Frameworks
My apps are built entirely from code written by myself, without third-party frameworks or SDKs. There are no hidden analytics or advertising libraries that could collect information in the background.
Contact & Questions
If you contact me by email, the information you provide is used solely to respond to your request. It is never shared with third parties. If you have any questions about privacy in my apps, feel free to get in touch.
